Just finished all that's available of Orphan Black and feel bereft. These are what we have watched and liked:
House
24
Misfits
Orange is the New Black
Breaking Bad
Homeland
The Bridge
the Killing
Borgen
House of Cards
Luther (DH likes, I don't)

Silly but liked
Grimm
Lost

What should we watch next? Our habit is 2 episodes of something each evening when the DC are in bed.

not sure but i can highly recommend Waking The Dead.
We loved it.

ProfYaffle · 20/02/2016 09:38

Seeing as you've watched BB, what about Better Call Saul?

We also really liked Sense 8. Hemlock Grove is OK, falls into the silly category but reasonably enjoyable.

OnlyLovers · 21/02/2016 15:25

Hinterland
Happy Valley
Trapped
The Legacy (Danish family drama, on DVD or presumably available online)

EmmanuelleMumsnet · 21/02/2016 16:17

I agree with Better Call Saul if you liked BB - if anything I think it's even better.

I also think you might like Jessica Jones and Gotham.

And Rita, a Danish series on Netflix is really good if you need something "light" too and since you seem to like some Scandinavian shows.

Jaimx86 · 21/02/2016 16:30

Man in the High Castle. Amazing!

I'm currently watching Mr Robot which is fab.

OnlyLovers · 21/02/2016 16:32

What's Rita, Emmanuelle? 'Danish' and 'light' sound like a contradiction in terms to me Grin so I'm intrigued.

EmmanuelleMumsnet · 21/02/2016 16:41

Haha - yes it's an actual Danish comedy although it is sad in parts too. It's about a teacher and her three teenaged/grown-up children and her various relationships. I really loved it.

calzone · 21/02/2016 16:43

I am loving Fringe at the moment.

It has the rather lovely Pacey from Dawson's Creek in it.

OnlyLovers · 21/02/2016 17:21

Sounds ace.

Now just have to fit it in around Spin, The Night Manager, Deutschland 83...

SagaAndMartinsLiftConvos · 21/02/2016 17:27

Yes to Better Call Saul, it's brilliant.

Also Battlestar Galactica, seriously great and really gripping. Wobbles a bit towards the end but still one of the best TV series of the post-Sopranos wave of great TV.

I loved Jessica Jones.

Glad to hear Rita is good, I added it to my Netflix list but haven't got round to watching it yet.

JenEric · 21/02/2016 17:28

Gotham is bloody amazing

Allice · 21/02/2016 18:07

I've just binged watched Scandal, it's ok, gets a bit same old though.
Watching the Blacklist now and liking it.

DeccaMitford · 21/02/2016 18:25

I second The Blacklist, season 1 was great, season 2 was a bit patchy in places but season 3 is sooo gripping. Can't wait for it to start again next week on Sky

Apparently I third it too Blush Sorry for double post!

Pipbin · 21/02/2016 18:32

I agree with Battlestar Galactica. Don't be put off by the Sci Fi aspect it's really very political.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmit is great fun too.
Also, Community if it's still on there.

WickedWax · 21/02/2016 18:34

Sons of Anarchy

GrouchyKiwi · 21/02/2016 18:37

I'm currently enjoying Fringe too. It's weird but fun.

Agree with Jessica Jones . It's a bit grim at times but excellent.

For something lighter and silly, how about Once Upon A Time?

parrotonmyshoulder · 21/02/2016 19:43

Starting with Jessica Jones now.

Thanks for the recommendations. Loads look great.
