Anyone else watching series 5, and a bit, well bored?

I've loved the previous four series, but this one is crap.

Rob is back. Again. Stella and Michael are likely to have an affair with other people. Again. Auntie Brenda is ruling the roost. Again. It's dull.

The odd giggle at the new undertaker, but the rest of it is pretty crap.

They should have ended it like Gavin and Stacey I fear.

It's not what it once was

Still like it though. It's a bit like kids' tv!

I used to watch it properly, nothing else on.

Now I'm on my phone or studying or working.

Last week I went to bed at 930 and finished watching it the next day.

It's definitely not what it was.

Didn't realize a new series had started. How much have I missed?

It's on Tuesday's now not Friday's. You might be able to get it on catch up on sky? It's episode 5 now.

They've lost too many key cast members. I miss Emma and Paula. Not plausible that big Alan and Luke's wife would be away for months on end.

I don't 'get' Cheryl and there is too much Auntie Brenda - she worked best as a minor character. I quite like Rob, and Beyonce. Michael is annoying me a bit and Stella is being far too saintly over the baby situation. Love Bobby.

Emma was great. And Paula. And yes yes to big al being away too long! Like Stella's parents who went to Spain and never came back.

The Michael and rob competition is crap.

Bobby is amazing. I loved loved loved his turning from jobless bum to gay dressed undertAker in seconds.

Stella is just a little too bloody controlling and whiney this series

Not a fan of Aunty Brenda - too much airtime at the moment!

Didn't know there was a new series but thought the last one was dire. Shame as we enjoyed the first couple.

I've not seen the first series since it was first shown, but I'm sure Nadine was very different then wasn't she? It seems that the actress has forgotten how to play her and do the accent, and there's too much pulling funny faces going on.

Missing Alan, I hope he comes back for this series. I also liked the Irish girl who worked in the shop, wehre did she go?

Aunty Brenda is great as a minor character, but I agree she shouldn't have such a big part. Everyone calling her 'Aunty' was funny at first but it's very silly having her formally called Mayor Aunty Brenda.

I've embraced the silliness and am actually enjoying this series more than the last. Bobby is brilliant and I loved Nadine's fluent Spanish.
