Watched two yesterday, it was the 'celebrity' version. I use that word loosely.

First I saw Josie Gibson and then some bloke off Geordie Shore, who when asked by his blind dates what he does for a living, two of the three didn't recognize him, kept saying 'TV personality'

I was thinking oh yes, I suppose you do have that generic reality TV look about you.

Turned out it was Ricci someone who'd been on CBB. I didn't recognize him and had no idea. He was on a couple of series ago the one with Kellie Maloney. Nope, still nothing.
When I said they're erased from my memory bank when they leave, it seems I really mean it.

But I do watch the occasional dinner date. If they replay old celeb ones you can see some "old" faces. That Vicki Pattinson one who won the jungle and is now popping up everywhere was on the other day.

From what I've read now Cardoon, yes, but I honestly don't remember it.
She is TOWIE or ex TOWIE, ex of Mark Wright who is now married to Michelle Keegan. She takes shedloads of pouting selfies and is now mostly seen being exceptionally proud of her fairly recent weightloss.

Anne, the premise of Dinner Date is the that the male or female dater is shown in a restaurant venue looking at five different dinner menus, from which they choose three. As they peruse the menus we get to see a short VT of the person who's prepared them. Then off they go to the home of the datee for a blind date with the person who's prepared the meal. They swap around the males and females and I have seen same sex couples featured too.

At the end they choose one to go on a restaurant date with and the two who lose out get a ready meal for one delivered.

They've also shown the Australian version where the food's seemed much better and the prize is a night away at a luxury resort, the losers getting a nice handwritten card and a bouquet. Must have a better budget there.
