Anyone been watching?
I am feeling really [angry} right now.
DH and I love Never Mind the Buzzcocks and when we saw the Christmas Special was on couldn't wait to sit and watch.
Just been watching it and the host Simon Anstell was a complete and utter idiot.
Even the contestants were looking at him as if to say what the hell are you talking about.
I persevered watching it until he made the comment about orphans
"Every note you get wrong an orphan gets a slap"! WTF!!!

Who is he anyway?

He used to present Popworld on T4 and was vaguely amusing but the target audiences expectations probably weren't up to much.

I have seen him on NTB and I agree, he is twattish!

I've always quite liked him. Mianly because there is something about him (looks and humour wise) which reminds me of one of my close friends when I was in college.

Funnily enough, I didn't like him when he was doing Popworld (largely because I cannot BEAR whatserface who did it with him), but I don't mind him on Buzzcocks. I was admiring his curly hair this evening. I thought this thread was going to be about the stuff about Jewish people!

To be honest Macgod - I didn't know who was hosting the show. I have seen the guy before and wasn't that impressed with him then. Tried to persevere watching him but just didn't get into it at all. I know next time.

I much prefer the new guy to the previous one - Mark Lamarr was (is?) so bloody smug i just want to smack him! Dh like it show and watches it and I used to leave the room when mark Lamarr was presenting.
