Doctors must have the most expansive wig department on tv! I wonder if they hired a wig maker in error and can't get rid if them so have to have as many wigs as possible?

Heston and rhuma was so sweet, wine tasting was annoying and patient story line was sad again! Hasn't Aeysha learned from the Australian bloke!

I'm failing to see how the manager being horrible to Mrs Tembe is being racist.
It is possible for people to be horrible to someone purely because they 'don't like that person'.
I wish people wouldn't see racism in everything.

I think he's being horrible to her because she was doing a fantastic job before he came along. He's jealous of her, and wants to sideline her and take her down a peg or two. Hence the exclusion.
He's also trying to 'divide and conquer' the rest of the staff by inviting men only and pitting the different characters against each other.

I felt it was the way he said "send it home to Botswana" & then was something else as well, but I can't recall. I'm sure someone else will be along shortly hollowlegs.

I must have missed him saying that, toldmywrath.
That line does sound a bit iffy. Maybe he is being racist.

Haven't they already had a racism storyline with Mrs T?

Definitely racist, the Botswana line was there to show us he is a nasty racist. Doctors is a very straightforward soap. Everything is flagged nice and clearly.

Yup, he said maybe she could send the photos home to Botswana, and Mrs T was My home is Letherbridge...

Am also open to the idea that he's not "just" racist, but is a thoroughly nasty chap in other ways as well

Wife beater got his comeuppance. Heston's delivery was undelivered and he went into meltdown. Ruhma was upset when she saw him (but I don't know why.

Watching now - the new wig really suits Valerie.
