Here the green bin is for paper, cardboard, metal, glass & plastic Raahh (general recycling) We have a black one for general waste & a small black one with orange lid for food waste (goes to anaerobic digester)

There is also a green bin with a yellow band (think it's wide sticky tape) for garden waste but you have to pay £25 per year for one of those.
