DOCTORS- New year, new practice manager, same old WTF storylines (hopefully)

It is going the same way as Corrie - crap writing, no storyline continuity, hopeless actors trying to carry plotlines well beyond their ability.

Why is Gobby suddenly having to save for a new boiler and looking wistfully at expensive dresses in shop windows? What happened to all the money they must have got when they sold the family home due to inheriting a new home? And then what happened to the money they got when they sold that new home to buy a smaller home when they downsized?

And Jimmi hasn't washed his hands in weeks.

Hasn't Doctors always had appalling writing? I think the problem is it is just taking itself too seriously now?

She's been sucked in super easily, but Jimmi and al seemed strangely interested too!

Aeysha wouldn't have given it too him, she's supposed to be tough from the estate. Why was she such a push over? Not a lot gobbyplod could do without evidence. Let's hope she goes back to 6tls and leaves her hideous mother to it!

And yet another sad patient story!

I have a theory that the producers have decided that the writers' objective for the next year is to win at the Soap Awards. Or TV baftas.

They have decided the only way to achieve this goal is to write increasingly miserable storylines, cause anguish by getting rid of favourite characters, and ditching all elements of 'fluff'.

It won't work.

Re- bereavement (although I know everyone is different) the actors come across as just slightly put out- no emotions at all. Where do they get these actors from?
