The new series of Stella starts tonight and I can't wait! I love Ruth Jones (and DD was in school with one of the actors lol!). Anyone else a fan?

Oh I do like a bit of a Rob. I'm gutted that he was killed off.

Yes Scoop, in series 1 or 2 - she wasn't sure if it was Sean's or Rob's then she turned out not to be pregnant anyway. I don't think this latest baby is Rob's. I don't think they would repeat that storyline and I don't think she slept with Rob this time anyway.

I didn't think she slept with him either- she was racked with guilt when it was 'just a kiss'. I can't imagine her being able to sit comfortably through a pub lunch with him, his partner and Michael knowing that she'd slept with him.

Yes, I thought it was the menopause last time she thought she was pregnant? Also, did Stella not graduate as a nurse? She just seemed to work in the pub this series?

Having started this thread I'm ashamed to say I've hardly watched this series. I know Rob has died (joys of Facebook) but did we ever find out who the father of Beyonces' baby was? I'll have to watch it on cockin' catch up now!

Was a good last show. I knew Rob ws going to die. DH seems convinced that Stella slept with Rob amd that it will be hia baby . I disagree.

Am still from when Emma saod fo Stella that she was only still with Oak becaise he was so good at oral sex! O cpuldmt imagine ever having a discussion like that with my mother. I felt it was a 'trying too hard' bit of writing.

kinraddie no, I don't think she graduated. She was still training at the start of the series and then they went on a summer break and she got a job at the pub.

So is Stella on a break from her nursing and will she go back to it then?

Just saw the last episode that we'd recorded. What a brilliant show! It had everything: birth, marriage and death. laughter, tears, loose ends tied up. It was wonderful. I sobbed big tears for dear Rob though. What a gent, and how well played he was by the actor.
