So? I think if someone me had had a personal relationship with someone, I would feel like a grief thief if I went on about how shocked I was.

My mum was very cut up when my dad died and they'd been divorced for years and he'd been a total bastard. It brings up lots of regrets, guilt and sadness as death somehow allows you to remember all the good times its sometimes easier to deny in life.
