I can't see why Angie would leave though, they divorced 30 years ago and she has not been complimentary about him whilst in the house. Unless she wants to support her son, however I don't think they are close either.

The cynic in me says she will milk this.

The right thing to do would be to leave the house and support her son. However it sounds like she hasn't been doing the right thing by him for decades, so why would she start now?

I think they will tell her and let her decide whether she wants to stay or go. I hope she goes, her claim to fame is David Bowie and this will give her a chance to talk about him more and dominant every moment even more than she already does. I think she's mentally vulnerable as it and I don't think that being in the BB house in these circumstances will be good for her, or the other housemates.

I suppose they will have to tell her, even though the BB contestants are not supposed to be privy to any news/current events

I think the days of the house being sealed from outside events are long gone, but of course death transcends news events I suppose.

So far as I'm concerned the only thing Angie has in common with David Bowie is a few photos that are still in the public domain and taking his professional name. Even their son didn't do that. They don't seem to have co-parented and there's no relationship between son and mother, or at least that's what I read.

Mourning his death seems inappropriate given her feelings about him, but she strikes me as very bitter that her life and 'career' didn't turn out like say, Sharon Osbourne's. That said if she deals with it quietly and privately I'll have a bit more respect for her.

Just had a peek at the CBB FB page and she has been informed off camera

Just heard the news this morning. Angie already talks about Bowie as if they're still married and uses his name.

I had no idea David was ill.

I guess BB will tell Angie and she will not STFU about it.

David seemed such a cool guy.

I'm very sad. I am a big Bowie fan. His talent and vision inspired so many and he will live on through the work of others. His new album is great, by the way.
