I'm not sure that Vicky should've got such a large tattoo on her leg... Her injury and adjusting to it is all so new she must still be in a bit of shock, I think she might regret it. It did look amazing, but it was massive and a bit...random?

But she had a large tattoo on her other thigh and said she was planning a thigh "sleeve" on that leg before the accident. She obviously likes and wants large tattoos.

I thought that. That in time she might come to regret it. They so seem to do the cover ups about 4 times the size of the original too.

Some of them are works of art but as a tattoo just seem OTT.

But small tattoos don't look as good as large tattoos. You can't get much intricate detail and/or colour in a two inch square.

If you're coming from a position of not really liking tattoos, then I can see why they look large and why you think people will regret them. But people who like and want tattoos generally want them to be large and detailed.

Vicky obviously likes tattoos, wanted more tattoos prior to the accident, and now has a "you only live once" attitude. Good on her. I didn't find the elephants that aesthetically pleasing, personally, but for her it was really meaningful so whether I like it or not is irrelevant Smile

I like the new girl. She has more personality than Lou. Jay continues to be very easy on the eye.

I have to say though, I was never keen on arse tattoos before but now I really dislike them. The knob anchor was prettier than the arse roses!

I think the attitude from the arse tattoo people seems to be "Ah, it's my arse, I can get all sorts of nonsense tattooed there and it doesn't matter because no one will know" Grin Hmm

I mean, Keith Lemon tattoo girl - she let her mate use her dad's tattoo machine, and she'd never tattooed anyone before. Jeeeeeesus.

I agree that the elephant tattoo was big but I liked it.

I don't know much about tattoos so I often like things that other people say aren't very good!

Does anyone else think jay looks a bit like the guy in the dishwasher advert think it is for fairy. Is it the same guy?

I think thats Jay in about 10/15 years.The other guy has grey hair in his beard.But is still lovely.

Havent had a chanceto watch it yet but i loved the last series.It was so funny.

I love the show :) I get absolutely slated for loving it though because dh is well connected in the tattoo industry and the majority of well thought of tattooists think it's utter tripe ! They also regularly post (on Instagram) photos of their own work that sketch has copied and they get all cross about it ..!

I agree with someone up thread that said if you don't particularly like tattoos they will seem large but most serious tattoo fans will want large and detailed tattoos. My husband literally only has his hands and neck free (!) and he would never get something tiny as when it heals it loses some of the detail. Plus with a cover up its even harder to cover it doing a smallish one.

I adore the bubbly receptionist :)

I agree that some of the tattoos would look better on a canvas than on a body.

I find it fascinating . I have watched a few of the programmes that Katie Piper did when people were getting huge tattoos removed. Not for the faint hearted at all and proves people do change their minds no matter how great they thought it was to begin with. Sad

The original tattoo was really ugly IMO - just a line of Roman numerals across her neck? I can think of dozens of nicer places to have put that. The fact it was wrong was just Shock
