last night there was a really good programme about phonics, is it really the best way for children to learn to read?

I was off school sick last week (I am a teacher!)and got a bit addicted to it. Love Michael Rosen too. It was all sex education videos and helping new teachers with class management the days I was ill. It was much more entertaining than 'This Morning' though, which is so much crapper than when I was last really ill and Richard and Judy still did it

I'm not a teacher but I liked watching the programmes about NQTs,(plus I found out what NQT stands for). A friend said there was a very good programme about autism a couple of nights ago - the phonics one sounds good too.

it's really worth watching, i work with children so it gives me tips
