I watched the blacklist, devious maids and I have tried breaking bad but I couldn't get into it only watched the first couple, is it worth persevering or is it just not going to be my cup of tea as everyone raves about it?

I don't know, I think maybe if you've watched a few episodes of Breaking Bad and feel it's not for you, you might be right. i have watched the first 2 series and deciding whether I want to start no.3 as I am starting to feel I'm losing interest.

If you enjoyed Grey's Anatomy, I do think you'd like ER, though you'd be going back in time; or House of course.

PS: I am really keen to watch American Horror Story; anyone able to suggest where series 1 is available (legally!)?

American Horror Story is on Netflix and Amazon Instant Video (although not free in the latter case)
