Sorry Poppy, no discussion about ways to watch in the UK.
Yes Jjou am totally appalled at the retconning of Beverley, the woman who was completely abusive, an unrecovered addict and general mess. Scarlet seems to have forgotten that she had a breakdown on stage as a result of her mother's abuse.
The Beverley storyline is also ridiculous, perhaps a fitting memorial to a character who didn't make sense. I mean AS IF a recovering alcoholic (and not even a very good one, Deacon's only been sober for months at most) would really want to buy into a bar with his sponsor, I mean COME ON.
The Jeff storyline just made me laugh and laugh - soooo ridiculous, very soapy and in the true spirit of Nashville. Half of me hopes we see Goldie Hawn come to town playing his mum (obvs with Kate Hudson playing his sister). Poor Layla's run of bad luck with men continues, although actually Jeff taking a nosedive is the best thing that could have happened to her in that relationship. I'm pleased to note that Oliver Hudson is on another show and that's why he's been written out, not because they'd got fed up of him. He was a top quality villain and will be missed.
My overriding impression at the moment as far as Rayna is concerned is that her life is so full of family dramas that she can't be getting any time to concentrate on running her own business. If I were Bucky I'd be having a word about replacing her as the chief exec. If I were Rayna, I'd be telling everyone to fuck off and stop hassling me whilst I ran my business.
I've actually enjoyed the music more this season than last season so far, I can't think of any great ones from last season apart from Don't Put Dirt On My Grave?
Very sad that Hayden Panettiere will have to be written out temporarily whilst she seeks help for real life PND, hope she is feeling much better soon. I would assume the show has already been filmed up to the mid-season break so her absence will be next year sometime.
