Anyone watching? I can't find a thread about it but thought there was one previously!

How will they take Paige to Russia? Surely there would be questions about going there & would raise suspicions!

Also poor Martha - what's going to happen to her? Why did Clarke reveal himself??

I love this series!!

It's brilliant, isn't it? DH and me were saying how good it is, much better than Homeland now (which has gone downhill since Brodie's not in it anymore). I like spotting the early 80s details as well, as I am old enough to remember them from first time round! I don't know why ITV waste it by sticking away on ITV Encore, especially considering the amount of crap they show on their main channel! (Although Unforgotten is brilliant).

Poor Martha indeed. It is very strange 'marriage' with him she has, hardly seeing him, him keeping his own place, never seeing friends or family together. I don't know why she hasn't clicked about Philip/Clarke before now. Or maybe she did really, but just couldn't admit it to herself. Yes, why did he take his hairpiece off? I think he's going to kill her, sadly, actually I thought he would a few weeks ago, when the bug was discovered in the FBI offices (are they FBI or CIA?)

I think he'll come clean & be honest & then kill her afterwards as he surely can't let her live - hope not though. I really like her as a character & feel sorry for her as she's so lacking in confidence that she happily fell for anyone who acted interested in her & therefore was willing to put up with anything to keep him.

I was very young in the 80s, so don't remember any of it, but would love to know how true to life it is, both the settings & the storyline.

I didn't quite follow what was going on with the Russians & the female not wanting to stop the robot operation??

I love watching this, don't really understand it but it's great TV Grin.

I was in my 30s in the 80s Blush and a lot of the fashion/settings etc is very realistic.

I love this show too. I sky+ it so I often have a bit of a backlog of episodes to watch. I've just wanted the episode where Philip takes off his disguise and I was a bit baffled as to why he did. Having read this thread I have realised he is probably going to kill her. Poor Martha - she does love Clarke so muchSad

I agree NadiaWadia that ITV put so much crap on their main channel I can't understand why this great show is hidden away on ITV Encore.

wowfudge · 13/11/2015 00:05

ITV Encore - is that a bloody Sky channel then? We watched the first and second series and have been looking out for the third.

I can't read this thread properly because of the spoilers! I love all the cheesy 80s disguises.

Does anyone else think both the decor and the clothes are slightly too stylish for the 80s? I was born in 1982, and the photos of my childhood are heavy on swirly carpets and dodgy perms...
