I don't understand how - after sooooo many years of talent shows on TV - people still decide to sing Whitney Houston's "One Moment in Time".

I mean... seriously???

You do not sing that. Ever. "One Moment in Time" is one of those songs that has to be sung exactly like Whitney did, otherwise... it sounds wrong.

And let's say you achieve the impossible and sing it exactly like her, nail it, then people will say "You didn't make it your own."

Sing something that can have many different arrangements, so that you can customize it to your voice and you're more likely to go through. It's not actually that hard to find these songs. You just have to look at Youtube!

My Sunday evening has been tainted by the Terry wogan pic on here and no amount of Downtown can ease this .
