I doubt it. Though stories do move from episode to episode and it is long running, it would be fairly easy to pick up who is who, and what is happening. Like most soaps tbh - after a few episodes you'll be fine.

Nah. I've watched a handful of episodes now and then and still have a basic grasp on the characters and some of the storylines.

I haven't watched it since the wedding of Johnny and Bonnie.

There's been a load happening since then that I would have no clue of.

Hanson's back?
Has Guy Self gone?
Annoying dark haired Dr with the Pharmacist wife? (Yes hopefully)

Has Dr Rigby got himself some glasses that fit and are patients STILL spluttering "Are you sure he's not meant to be in school?"

Is Sasha still nice or has he gone to evil metamorphosis into git mode?

Connie?

OP, not at all. You'll pick it up in no time.

70, Bonnie was killed by plot
Hanssen is looming around again, thank goodness
Selfie is still there, arrogant as ever but is merely a neurosurgeon now
Elliot has gone to work in Pakistan
Dr Smug's pharmacist wife is gone after having a baby with Dr Posh (aka Tressler) who is now in Chicago with Mary Claire, I believe and now he is Dr actually quite nice.
No, Digby's specs still don't fit but there have been no more is he still in school, in fact, he now has his very own F1 to follow him around.
Sasha is still nice and a bit of a pushover
and Ollie Valentine is back and making eyes at Zosia.
