If you thought Blumenthal was pointless, how abou the Oz Clarke programme?

This makes my blood boil! I can just see the flip chart meeting where this programme was conceived.

1. People like escapist food/wine tv.
2. Top Gear is has a successful format.
3. Combining Top Gear format and food works well, thus

'The F Word.'

1. Well, why not take take a Top Gear presenter and combine him with a wine/food expert and you've got the perfect formula.

Except it's the worst rubbish, more fake than the Nigel Farrell programmes. It's time programme makers were less cynical, TV is becoming a parody of itself.

He is a charmless git, isn't he?
Haven't seen the programme, just remember him from the Food Prog aeons ago.
