Dracula--he certainly needs another Cunning Plan very rapidly!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 28/10/2015 15:38

Is it me or does every cunning plan that Rick comes up with go completely tits up and result in people dying?

Abraid2 · 28/10/2015 16:09

Apart from, possibly, breaking into the jail in series 3. That would have worked if he had dealt with the Governor better. The jail was a good, safe, base, though I suppose they happened upon by chance.

Just rewatched the Glenn scene and a gun definitely clicks empty twice. Glenn's is facing downward at the time so pretty sure it was Nicholas's...and the plot thickens ;)

limitedperiodonly · 28/10/2015 19:39

I've rewatched the scene and I think Nicholas falls across his chest crossways so that would make sense that his guts are being devoured under Glenn's chin.

The walkers were fairly refined in their eating habits - there was no head-down troughing. The other thing I noticed when he was screaming was that Glenn didn't have a single filling.

BigOCupOfTea · 28/10/2015 20:06

Walkers eat Nicholas and Glenn gets covered in blood/guts and is somehow disguised by that.

Sort of a throw back to season 1 Glenn called Rick a dumbass in the tank.

Glenn called him a dumbass in this episode.

They also both covered themselves in zombie blood to hide from the walkers until it started raining.

atticusclaw2 · 28/10/2015 20:31

OK I know this is bad form but recognising that there might be some kindred spirits on this thread.. we are currently petitioning MNHQ for a preppers topic where we can talk about all thing emergency scenario/SHTF related. At the moment we have requisitioned the Ebola board but it's confusing people.

If anyone would be interested then would you mind awfully popping onto the thread running on site stuff to show that you would visit the board. MNHQ are trying to see what the demand would be like.

Oh and there is no way Glen is dead. I've re-watched and they didn't commit on the Talking Dead which is a sure sign.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 28/10/2015 23:34

Ok so I've just been looking at a link online that showed the dumpster when Nicholas was running towards it and you can clearly see a gap underneath it. And then there was a picture of Glenn's head underneath Nicholas and you could see the edge of the dumpster right beside his head. So the assumption is that not only was it big enough to get underneath but it was right beside him. Could the walkers be distracted by the gunshots from Michonne etc and give him a chance to slip under the dumpster? Pretty please?

ZombieHunter · 29/10/2015 06:46

Have a look at this if you want to know whether he is dead or not. It's not too spoilerish, but gives a pretty bullet proof answer.

Is Glenn dead?

cherrytree63 · 29/10/2015 06:57

I wish I hadn't watched any of series 6 now, then I could have binge watched all the episodes and not lived with the suspense!

QueenStromba · 29/10/2015 08:02

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that you could get all the way through a season of The Walking Dead without it being spoiled cherrytree.

Limited: I also noticed Glenn's lack of fillings - strange the things you notice gruesome moments.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 29/10/2015 13:08

I keep seeing that picture of Glenn supposedly with that new Jesus character. The cynic in me says how come there aren't any more pictures? Did AMC release that one just to keep us all in suspense? It could be a dream sequence or flashback and all the other actors were there watching filming. They often watch other scenes in between takes, still in their costumes. I don't think it's conclusive proof of anything. As painful as that is to admit. I don't want Glenn to be dead either. Poor old Maggie has been through enough.

DontOpenDeadInside · 29/10/2015 14:44

Have to say though, if its a choice between this death and his comic book death, I'll choose this one. The other is just vicious.

DraculasDixieNormas · 29/10/2015 15:23

going to have to Google Glenns comic death now!

DraculasDixieNormas · 29/10/2015 15:28

hmm yeah that wasn't nice

BreakingDad77 · 29/10/2015 16:03

On a sidenote has any one been playing the Walking Dead - No mans land game? its now out on android as previously just apple.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 29/10/2015 16:39

He does deserve a better death than he got in the comics. His comic death hit me as bad as the comic storyline between the governor and Michonne and they changed that, so hopefully they'll change this too.

Mammabear31 · 30/10/2015 22:13

Read today that Season 7 has been given the green light - woohoo!!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 31/10/2015 00:35

Yay! Grin

UnGoogleable · 31/10/2015 14:39

Ooh I'm loving the 'Glenn's not dead' theories!

Spent the day worrying about poor Maggie, she's been through so much! Hah, need to remind myself it's not real.

I too was shouting at the TV at the lack of mercy killings... 'Just shoot the poor girl', or 'Stab him in the head!'.

quirkychick · 01/11/2015 08:43

[Shock]

I have just caught up with this episode, I needed to find a time to watch on catch up without the dcs around. Grrrr half-term is disturbing my viewing habits. I had some idea it would be a difficult episode so definitely didn't want to watch it before bed!

The guts look like Nicholas' as he fell on top and they were too high up. Whether Glenn survives that is presumably left open. Yy, to the lack of mercy killings. Why stand and watch someone eaten to death who would then turn? It really brought home how much the Alexandre answer need Rick's group to survive.

quirkychick · 01/11/2015 08:44

*Alexandrians, obviously

Mammabear31 · 01/11/2015 15:03

Is tomorrow's episode all about Morgan then? (Yawn)

KittyOShea · 01/11/2015 15:07

I do like Morgan even though he is totally misguided at the moment. I see him as the anti- Rick

I think an episode about his back story will be interesting but would much prefer it after we find out what's happened to poor Glen.

Mammabear31 · 01/11/2015 20:05

Exactly - Morgan is a great character but I don't think I could handle 90mins of him after last weeks cliffhanger; I need to know about Glenn!!!!
