The crisps sound fab ilove might have to get some of those as feeling a wee bit jealous of all the gin drinking going on. Im attempting an ironing pile resembling the Himalayas whilst drinking decaf coffee. God I sound so depressing!

Thats sounds a fab flavour of crisps ilove. I seriously recommend Marks & Spencer's Pork, Sage & Scrumpy Cider crisps. They're extremely yummy.

Commiserations on the ironing pile mads. I'm going to have a huge uniform one on Sunday to do. I think the whole washing pile is mostly uniforms

I must recommend the FF 'The New Journey' by Yorkshire Star. Its fab. Its anew take on S2 if with Georgie Lane and if Molly was in it a bit. Think I read all chapters in one go.

Yes rhu can't wait for SCD tomorrow. MIL is up on Sunday until Tuesday so hopefully she won't spoil my precious watch-a-long experience!!

I need to get my arse in gear and sign up for a parents evening appointment. Of course it's a week when MrP is away so I also need to find a babysitter.

Good luck to all scaling Mt Crumple (as we dubbed the ironing pile in the days when I did ironing) this weekend. My colleague used to save her ironing for a Sunday afternoon, stick on a box set and open a bottle of wine.

pix won't they let you take him? I'm forever having to go on my own to parents night but the teachers let you take the kids to a designated play / study area in the school while you go to the appointment. I didn't know about it till after the first time I'd organised a babysitter, might be worth a check.

Just been for a lovely day trip to Bath - had to deliver a few things that dd didn't take with her, well that was the excuse anyway! It was gorgeous in the sunshine. It could only have been bettered if a certain CJ had taken me out to lunch with himself for dessert!

DH is away tonight (in your neck of the woods Kel for rugby) so have the house to myself- need to decide between Ep 5 or a fanfic-fest. Tricky!

Good advice about child entertainment at parents evening, I'll look into it. Can't be worse than handing him my phone as I had a smear test

Yes tickets purchased - ever the optimist me! Can't remember who replaced BA last year - several minor celebrities there. Fingers crossed he can make it this year!

Evening again. Not sure I would fancy trying those crisps to be honest.

Been out tonight but nothing exciting - in fact it's totally depressing. I went to visit my elderly friend with the very poorly husband. I don't know how she copes. He is incontinent, is confined to one room of the house with a hoist to get him from his bed to a chair etc and has some sort of dementia, brought on from what I can understand, as a side effect of his Parkinson's. My Dad had that but died with it rather than of it if you know what I mean but it was very, very mild in comparison with this poor old guy. My friend actually said tonight that she would withdraw his medication if it meant he would go quietly in his sleep but knows she can't. It must be a horrible situation to be in. I am thankful every time I go that neither of my parents suffered in such a way as this man is doing.

Lucky people who live within easy reach of London and BA's carol concert.

Rhubarb loving your latest chapter. It's so different to any of the others at the moment and I very much like the way you have made Bella and Tom more central characters in the storyline.

Just back from a night out with a few girlfriends, a typical night out when I don't stop talking and forget to eat, drink too much and now feeling squiffy.

I like the look of those crisps..Although health kick at home, we are on week 3 of sugar free. Really difficult, but in not counting the sugar in wine though!

Morning all. Still feeling exhausted and aching in all the right places after my one on one session with Mr PErfectlytoned. My pommel horse got a thorough pommeling and he even let me blow his whistle.

In reality, I saw him wink at the lady who delivers the staffroom milk and she's missing a few crucial teeth so I'm thinking he's not very selective...

Away for the weekend so once again the blooming great club of fate has knocked any chance of me joining in tomorrow. I haven't even had time to watch the dvd on my own for months.

As for prosecco crisps, don't fancy them at all I'm afraid. My prosecco consumption needs to be in liquid form but kelly's pork ones sound right up my street.

Luckily for our boys, pix I've just finished rubbing down the last of the victorious All Blacks team (kuai the powerhouse with the dreadlocks who scored a try was particularly grateful for my remarkable muscle loosening prowess) and have got myself a last minute booking at orphs spa. Couldn't have our boys being disappointed twice in one week so I've bought some extra lavender oil and sticks for them to bite down on
