Wow that was an intense 60 minutes - just love the fact that we are all out there watching as a team!! Bit more than England was yesterday!!

Just read back the thread - very amusing ladies and very busy. Ilove I was referring to the 'I love you' scene complete with metal detector. I know we've said it before on here but it just doesn't feel right. I wonder if it was a last minute re-write as I expect that scripts are a bit fluid even in production for lots of reasons. I know that it needed something dramatic to drag the words out of her, some life threatening moment to make it worthwhile saying it to him. I just wonder if it was meant to be something else. We'll never know but we all like the hospital scene - that was spot on (Zombie corruption aside) so will have to forgive and forget. It did provide some nice curly hair at nape of neck action.

Apparently Downton was meh! and there were no pigs. Will catch up tomorrow probably as can watch and vegetate at the same time.

I'm watching Downton now - at least when you record it, you get to skip over the interminable adverts. We've just had Carson and Mrs Hughes' wedding. There seemed to be an awful lot of people there. Rentacrowd maybe.

When I was staying in and around Bath earlier in the year, we went to Bampton where parts of Downton are filmed. I recognised the church they used for the wedding. The house the dowager Lady Grantham supposedly lives in is also in Bampton. It was lovely in the village - such a change from the money grabbing owners of Highclere Castle/Downton.

I think mooj probably lives not too far from there???

Nickel good luck with DS away trip this week - just remember that no news is good news which means he is having a good time!! They are far more resilient than we give them credit !!

Would seem I slept through the watchalong- just woke up on sofa! Looks like it was a good one.
ilove I do indeed live near Bampton, very lovely looking place -the church, the house and the hospital are all buildings there. A few of the pubs elsewhere used too-the one in Swinbrook that you visited( which is even closer to me!).
Well , I'm wide awake.... episode 3 it is.

Morning, such a great watch-along last night. And next it's the episode with the ending that sent us all manically searching for information!

I missed the watch along again! There's always too much going on! Little DH cheek isn't broken thank god! But so swollen and now all the bruising is coming out, he looks like his mouth is full of cotton wool!

Dark, wet morning here and a long day at work

Hi, sounds as if you in the northern hemisphere had a good watch along last night. Have had a solitary, sad one woman watch along since I got back from the dentist this am. Am in the wrong job...paid $240.00 for 15 minutes work.
Re "Do you love me?" scene, complete with metal detector,two things.
(1)The little quiver of CJ's lip always does me in, big time and (2), I find myself yelling at Sohail, "For f....'s sake keep still for a couple of minutes!"

Love this scene. One of my faves. Pity we didn't get the conversations that happened after it.

Meant to say ilove went in the nespresso shop in paris for a coffee in the little cafe inside. Was lovely but literally a department store for coffee!

Ah Maddie, didn't realise there was a cafe inside. Mind you, we'd just paid about £5.50 each for coffees at a pavement cafe on the other side of the Champs Elysees and remember having to get some more money out of a hole in the wall.

Yeah it was lovely but expensive! Can't remember how much but remember nothing had prices on..... Never a good sign. Photographic evidence

Morning all. Thank you for all the good wishes for DS. I missed the end of the watch along as he was very upset about going away (I know, priorities!!), he seems better this morning.
Meant to say last night, but my t-shirt I posted was one from the OG props dept, BA has one too . I'm wearing it now, and pretending it's like a hug from CJ yes, the stress has made me temporarily insane. Anyway, on that note I'm off to take DS to his doom his school trip.

That t shirt is fab nickel! Just imagine if BA was sitting in his pants wearing his last night watching episode 2....
