Question about Grand Designs from two weeks ago

The one where the boat dweller builds a house designed by his architect nephew...

The start of this has been cut off in the recording, so I was wondering why a trust was paying for it?

I think it's just money he inherited that was put in trust because there was a concern that he would fritter it all away buying drugs when he was younger. But you can probably see the bit you lost on Channel 4OD.
