Well hello cherin! Welcome back! You managed to sort out a house move then by the sounds of it.

Not quite yet..but we purchased last Friday, and hope to move in next week. Bloody expensive!!!! I am not convinced it was smart move, BUT the catchment area issue should be sorted. Whoever said that the first kid is the most expensive, didn't quite see the full picture

So any news of our favourite captain? Whoever is taking him prisoner this week?
(Btw I saw FFTMC on a long haul flight- nice!! I like this Matthias!!)

CJ has been all over the place cherin. pixie took him to Kenya, I've had him (so to speak) in Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Surrey, ice took him to Ireland and Canada and he's been up and down England and Scotland most of the summer. He's resting now..........

He was a great hit with the Americans and Japanese in Edinburgh. He enjoyed posing in his kilt which Richtea and orphan fitted him out with.

2 hours later, Tamal's still erect! Phew!

A CJ in kilt might be a sight to behold...a mix between OG and outlander (but with an accent I can understand a bit better :-)

I was about to say I didn't fancy Bertie Carvel, when MrP pointed out that he looks a lot like him. He's does rather. Oops.

I'm still on GBBO! Waiting for kids to sleep before watching Dr F, need to give it full attention to work it all out!

Considering I also had to go back to full time (double mortgage!), no the packing is going at half the speed it should go...but what can I do? I am exhausted at night!! And no, there's no CJ trapped in my cellar, I swear it's only work...
I don't even have time for the bake off! Luckily there's the iplayer :-)

orphan, which other Mathias movie should I go for?? Suggestions, please!
(On the way back from the same long haul flight I resorted to Frozen!! But I skipped most of the singing ;-) trouble of having generated only boys is that you lack excuses to watch Disney movies with leading female characters....)

Oo pix lucky you if your Mr P looks like Bertie Carvel. Just watched this week's episode. I won't spoil it for people who want to see it but really disappointed in one of the characters but ahh...its difficult saying more without letting the cat out the bag. I'll wait until other people comment.

Really enjoyed Dr Foster, it totally messed around with the way I thought about a few of the characters!

It's pretty much just the beard. Their noses and jawline are very different.

Kelly it livened up a bit this week did Dr Foster. Some smut in there, not sure whether you would call it quality or not - depends whether you liked the accountant guy or not.

I feel a bit miffed about DF this week. Some of the theories I've read about what could've happened this week would've been brilliant if it did but I think this episode was a bit meh. Could be a standard affair story now but it could pick up. It's got 2 more episodes to go. Starting to not like Simon.

Went to bed early last night. I've not watched Dr Foster as was away for first 2 eps. Avoiding any spoilers as I may catch up on it this weekend

cherin Suite Francaise is good to see Matthias in uniform (albeit German officer one) and Rust and Bone if you don't mind him bulked up a bit more.

Have a lot of TV catching up to do - will try to watch Dr Foster tonight. Judging by the trailers last week I assume she gets under the covers with the slimy neighbour. I'm enjoying the series but none of the men appeal lookswise. As I mentioned before to kellys disgust, Bertie will forever be Miss Trunchbull to me.

I think Dr F is still full of ambiguity Kelly. And what about those (presumably negative) remarks on the 'rate your GP' site? I don't think that bit of the story was thrown in to fill a gap, I think there's lots going on we don't see, we only see things from Gemma's point of view.

I'm struggling with Dr Foster I'm afraid. Bertie Barebotty doesn't do anything for me and don't even go there with the smarmy, oily neighbour. And poor Surannes looking soooo old these days. Too much in-depth calm conversation and talking to your husband like he's your Bank Manager when she should be screaming like a banshee, ripping up his clothes and slapping the girlfriends face for starters. I think it's one of those dramas where it's all in her head and we'll find out in the last episode she's got schizophrenia or some such nonsense and kills him when he's totally innocent, bah!

Love your summary woof! I haven't watched last night's yet, but just can't get past the neighbour being all smarmy when he was in Hustle. Makes me think he's a bad 'un!
