Might take you a while to get used to the same cast for 4 seasons in different roles/stories but it is awesome.

Catch up now as AHS:Hotel starts soon with Lady Gaga in a major role. No Jessica Lange though.

It's very silly but great fun. Series one and two are the best, three dipped but four (set in the circus) I think was a return to form. Not sure how it's going to go - Lady Gaga ain't no Jessica Lange...

Agree with PC that S2 is the best. I struggled a bit with S4 (Freak Show) as I felt it was weaker than the others.

S5 Hotel starts in 3 weeks. Lady Gaga is in it

So worth watching. The first one still terrifies me! They are all good in different ways. I actually just rejoined mumsnet in anticipation of a new series! I couldn't remember my username or password and I had signed up using an email address I no longer have.

Every season there is a moment during the first episode when something so ghastly happens I question if my delicate heart can tolerate watching it, but then, there is a moment of beauty or redemption that draws me back in!

Liz Taylor (Denis O'Hare) is my favorite character this season. She is odd and lovely.

I do miss Jessica Lange, though!

I love it! Haven't seen series 4 as I'm watching on Netflix, but it will be on there next week - I can't wait!

Watched the 'preview' episode for Hotel, not quite sure if it's episode 1 or a teaser but looks like craziest season yet. Liz Taylor is fab already, and Gaga wasn't too bad, think Jessica Lange will be missed though.

I just watched the pilot episode on Netflix last night.
Really enjoyed it... Gonna watch all episodes now, 2/3 a week probably... So will take a while to catch up to newest season.
