Soup stealer woman was disappointed he didn't feel romantic about her.

She seemed to go out of her way to make herself as unpleasant as possible.

That chap was very restrained and polite.

Ooh I love Fadi and the pretty florist.

I liked chap who had his soup stolen.

I also like Emma, and think she MUST see Fadi again.

No Emma, he just wanted someone who he wouldn't be embarrassed with.

I was cringing for Ian from Liverpool and then when Emma got worse, and didn't recognize the signals at all, I was cringing a bit for her

Claire the florist reminds me quite a bit of one of my friends.

Oh, I mean I like Claire. Not Emma. Claire and Fadi.

Fadi and florist seem like nice people and relaxed together.

Oh, but they're not meeting up again.

'Cmon, baby'. 'We are alike'. Bet she's living in a bush in his garden now.
She was vile, and old enough (way more than 33) to know how to behave. And no, Emma, that's not strength, just dog rough.

Oh no. Well, I hope claire found someone else, as she seemed v v nice.

And Fadi too. He should come back to First dates.

I like Ian who had his soup stolen, maybe he'll come back again?

Am surprised that nothing came of it for Claire and Fadi, but we only see bits.

They didn't really say what happened after shoe shopping for Paolo and Mario, so who knows.

Millie and Daniel seem to have done the best this week? I thought they seemed well matched, although I missed where they first met.

Maybe Fadi got a bit too full-on too quickly; he did seem quite enthusiastic.

Her manners or lack of them were repulsive...his face said it all

I wish they'd put people's names up on screen EVERY time they cut away to the interview-y bits, to help us learn them.

I'd think someone was no more than 26 as well if they ordered a Jagerbomb at a restaurant! Not impressed with that guy.

It annoys me when people don't know what drink they want. Just say something.

Don't bring up a topic like "diabolical date stories" if you don't have any to offer.

It's like asking someone about their favourite-ever holiday and then admitting that you've never been on holiday.

Or asking about people's favourite restaurants and then saying that you never eat out.

You need to be able to contribute to the conversation.

Good point Made about Fadi maybe being a bit too full on, Claire had been ill and perhaps needs easing in to the world of dating more gently.

Ian, from Liverpool, I thought was really giving the date a good go, but as it went on and Emma got more and more inappropriate with her goat's cheese suffle(sic) and tearing at the lamb bones like a cavewoman, not to mention referencing porn, you could see him tensing up and backing off. I was cringing for him. She thought she's too strong a woman for him and he was thinking he hopes he doesn't bump into her again in town.

The First Dates Twitter account tweeted about Jo from last week, the nice lady we all liked. She's bound to be coming back.

Lovely to see Paulo again - he's such a cute Mr Tumnus and I'm glad he had a better time with Mario. Interesting that when they replayed a clip from last week, where his date said that wearing heels was 'not normal', they included him going on to say 'I mean not common' which softened the remark a bit - nasty of them to leave it out originally.

Anyone else amazed at so many men offering to pay for the whole meal and so many women letting them?? I haven't dated for years but when I did there's no way I would expect a man to foot the whole bill - seems really antiquated. Interesting also that Paulo and Mario split the bill with no fuss.

Cherry: They showed Paolo's date saying that in the original episode too.

They didn't leave it out - that was in it last week - he tried to take it back but he still MEANT it.

Oh ok, I must have missed it gasping with incredulity...

Well, Emma the soup stealer did offer to buy a big bottle of cherry Lambrini or something for them both to drink by the river afterwards; that's sort of a nice token of appreciation right there.

It was Emma the Liverpudlian prior to talking about staying home and watching porn or chomping down on the lamb bones.

I'm not in the market for dating and back when I was we weren't doing expensive things, but if I were in this situation I'd insist on halves if I didn't want to see the man again. If I really liked him and hoped for another date I'd accept him picking up the bill so long as I could return the favour next time If I liked him but he wasn't keen, I'd certainly offer my share and play it by ear as to how he reacted.
