Sue Perkins in Kolkata

Saw this last night, although couldnt stay up to watch the whole thing, what a pity they put it on Wednesday immediately after Bake Off, surely that was a Sue Perkins over dose which is perhaps why I didnt watch it, even though I love Sue Perkins.

Anyone else see this? Very enjoyable and interesting.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. I really like the way she does these types of programmes. She really seems to relate to the people of the country, even without being able to actually speak to them. Did you see her series of the trip along the Mekong river - fascinating.

I've always liked her since I discovered Mal and Sue's light lunch (years ago!!)
I was so excited when I found out that my MIL taught her at school. Sadly she no longer seems to be in touch with her.

Oh I don't think there is any not wanting. It's just that MIL taught her 30+ years ago, and taught a lot of others before and since - she couldn't possibly have stayed in contact with all of them
