I may have an extra interest in this programme... (Which I may or may not divulge at a later date!) but either way, has anyone heard of it? The trailer and a couple of other videos have just been released as well as interviews with them all.

Starts on Sunday at 8:00 on channel 4, can't wait!

Just been watching that, and enjoyed it. 11 and 8 year old watched it too as they're interested in history.
I think they have a new found respect for how 'easy' they have it nowadays! Grin

I enjoyed this.

Looking forward to next week's, though I am hoping for an earlier medieval period as well.

Or a Viking one would be good.

I couldn't get beyond Meg Mathews surgery so I turned it off! Will try and finish it in the week.

I watched it, I love programmes like this Smile however, I did at the cutting up of the pig's head!

gaggiagirl · 23/08/2015 22:52

I really enjoyed it. I liked everyone.

mollyonthemove · 24/08/2015 14:57

Yep. Really enjoyed it!

CaptainSwan · 04/09/2015 12:51

Did anyone watch last Sunday's?

SteamPunkGoth · 05/09/2015 18:37

I'm enjoying this & looking forward to tomorrow's programme as that's my historical special interest.

Excited101 · 06/09/2015 11:04

I've watched both of them so far, hated the hogs head removal- that was grim! This one tonight is the one I've been waiting for since March have got DM, DDad, DSis and her DP to watch it at mine with a bit of a party so should be fun!

I absolutely love this. Why can't they provide an event/weekend away that we mere mortals can attend?!

Excited101 · 06/09/2015 22:01

Do you mean to take part Yoghurt ? What did you think to tonight's episode?

OP posts:
PotOfYoghurt · 06/09/2015 23:39

Yes, I think it would be lots of fun. Sort of like a murder mystery party, without the murder. Presumably.

I enjoyed tonight's episode, particularly because it de-glamourised the likes of Downton Abbey, (which I do like.) interesting as well to see how the footmen are chosen... How misfortunate to be short!

Baconyum · 13/09/2015 21:15

PotOfYoghurt just wanted to say i love that you've spelt yoghurt correctly! Grin

I'm watching now, new to it thanks to Gogglebox! Talk about convolutes. Enjoying so far. The ridiculousness of 'clean the farm so we can show orf how idyllic it is' is just Shock when people were dying of starvation!
