Now TV versus Sky

I'm very confused after looking at the Now TV website! We've currently got Sky and I'm trying to think of ways of saving money. can someone please explain to me about Now TV please! Basically, I want to be able to record programmes, watch Sky Atlantic and normal telly. We have a Smart TV so have freeview on that. Can anyone give suggestions? many thanks.

Basically, you watch Now TV as if you were using Sky's On Demand feature - it's all through your WiFi. I could never get my box to let me watch live TV although I think you can if your broadband speed is fast enough.
