turning on now

ssd · 13/08/2015 09:34

the weather is crap though

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:40

The weather is shit, yes. But then at least it shows more than stupid sunshine all year round that they always show. He doesn't look like he really wants to move.

God they're a depressing lot!

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:41

Oh stop crying, FFS! It's not like they are dying. Hate these wimpering friends and family guilt trip bits.

OP posts:
dillite · 13/08/2015 09:42

All of them are depressing.

OP posts:
ssd · 13/08/2015 09:42

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:42

the vote is undecided

caravanista13 · 13/08/2015 09:46

I can't bear to watch. It would be like a bereavement for me if my DC and DGC emigrated - we see each other, informally, at some point or other every week. I would find it so hard to lose that.

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:46

It looks like a divorce might be on the cards no matter what decision is made. Why are they taking their adult children with them? Gosh, they just look so miserable all of the time!

OP posts:
ssd · 13/08/2015 09:47

oh for christs sake just go and put a bloody smile on your faces

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:47

Even the dog looks miserable.

This is my first time watching this and I'm glad there's people to discuss it with - WTAF??! Do they always have miserable relatives layering on the guilt? Surely they should just get divorced - he seems like a knobhead. The daughter looks much nicer without a fringe though, so that's cheered me up. I'm unsure how I feel about laundry chutes.

Laquila · 13/08/2015 09:50

LOLZ at those boys apparently going to turn into massive sports fans as soon as they touch down in NZ!

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:54

Yes, miserable relatives are a must, the more tears and guilt tripping the better.

Gosh, even I feel miserable now.

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:55

The way they have been talking the entire programme makes it sound as if they are going to get killed as soon as they land in NZ!

OP posts:
Laquila · 13/08/2015 09:56

It doesn't even look like they're going to tell you what happens in the end! They might well rent for 6 weeks and then come right bloody back again!

dillite · 13/08/2015 09:58

Finally! So the daughter is going as well? Their excess baggage fee must be enormous!

loveliesbleeding1 · 13/08/2015 09:59

I've never known a wife give less of a crap about her husbands feelings.

RosesandRugby · 13/08/2015 10:01

I feel sorry for him. He clearly doesn't want to go so why doesn't he just send her off on her own and live his own life in the uk with his daughter?

dillite · 13/08/2015 10:01

From what she said throughout the programme she has been giving crap about his feelings for too long and it was now her turn.

LIZS · 13/08/2015 10:02

dillite · 13/08/2015 10:07
