What channel ?

Quootiepie · 22/11/2006 22:00

the one they built? It is pretty cool Imagine building your own house from scratch and not even being a proper builder...

NomDePlume · 22/11/2006 22:00

They do seem to have a massive amount of canned crap in their pantry. The thought of that Dugger family casserole (a load of old shite, condensed soup and 'tata tots' (sp) chucked into a casserole dish and ovened) makes me gag. Grim

One of the Discovery ones, Nutty

The house was huge but not my taste at all.

I watch them with slightly freaked out fascination. All those homemade Peter Pan collars .....

They are just like little (and not so little) clones of their parents.

nutcracker · 22/11/2006 22:03

Oh no, i don't have discovery health.

sweetkitty · 22/11/2006 22:04

They are barking mad but harmless, I know they buy secondhand etc but even so how much must it cost to feed all those kids.

Love watching them though wonder if they will go for number 17?

I'm sure they will go for 17. The last prog I saw they had 14 ("14 kids and counting"), then I saw the update of 16 kids and a new house. They seem to go on and on.

plibble · 22/11/2006 22:09

I love the Duggars, they seem like nice people. I am a little freaked out by how the mother and daughters dress though.

sweetkitty · 22/11/2006 22:10

Thought the girls especially were wierd little mummy clones with that hair.

I love watching their programmes. I love their new house as well, compared to my tiny flat it's a mansion.

Do sometimes wonder about what they all eat though. Tonight they were going shopping in the programme and Michelle said we'll buy all the frozen burritos they have. Did make me wonder if they ever eat any fresh food cooked from scratch, but i guess with 16 kids, homeschooling etc you don't always have time to cook fresh.

Tomorrow it's 16 kids on a road trip.

3andnomore · 23/11/2006 00:42

Hm....2000sqm just a big family sort of room, and they don't build seperate rooms if only for the older Kids....hm......
a bit to biblical and all that...but like someone else theya re harmless and providing for themselfs...so. who's business is it!

NomDePlume · 23/11/2006 16:25

I'm sure they said that they gave the kids the option of having their own rooms, but they all chose to share with each other in true Waltons style

moljam · 23/11/2006 16:28

how do they all keep so calm with such a big family?and although shes now got own launderette, how does she find time to do anything?
