Ultraviolet

Buffy

The pilot episode of Being Human

All equal first. Buffy gains something by virtue of having lasted longest. But Ultraviolet is the one still most in my head years later

jay55 · 02/08/2015 19:41

Buffy

Being human (UK)

Angel

Moonlight

Least fave Twilight.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 02/08/2015 19:48

film: Let The Right One In [Swedish version]
I loved Bram Stoker's Dracula when it first came out, it didn't quite appeal as much seeing it fairly recently.

tv: Being Human

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 02/08/2015 19:53

Love - being human and True blood
Used to love interview with the vampire but it is dated. Twilight is watchable pap, vampire diaries is shite. I never got into buffy for some reason.

Gruach · 02/08/2015 19:55

I am an idiot. Completely forgot the recent film:

A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night

which was staggering. Can't really be compared to a TV series.

Let The Right One In was ... interesting - but I watched it alone at home so only remember being quite badly scared.

WhereYouLeftIt · 02/08/2015 20:08

Ultraviolet, by a long long way. I was gutted that the second series never appeared, they seemed to be laying the ground for it in the final episode.

Buffy. Unbeatable (except by Ultraviolet, obviously).

Innocent Blood starring Anne Parillaud. I actually found Anthony LaPaglia sexy in this (he is not a vampire).

Angel. Especially when Spike was in it.

Lost Boys.

WhereYouLeftIt · 02/08/2015 20:09

ooh, just remembered - Byzantium, with Gemma Arterton.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 02/08/2015 20:13

Ultraviolet was amazing, always worth a rewatch.

Buffy.

The Vampire Diaries, purely for Damon Salvatore.

Being Human, so many good characters.

mamapants · 02/08/2015 20:22

I'd forgotten about Lost boys and being human.
I've just discovered that Anne Rice has a new book in the Vampire chronicles so have ordered it. Quite excited I was obsessed with the Vampire chronicles as a teenager.
Haven't even heard of ultraviolet so off to look at your link now Whereyouleftit.

Nice to have something to think about while waiting for the Humans finale tonight. Are synths the new vampires - for entertainment purposes?
