He wasn't a one trick pony, he was a 'whole field of ponies'. That was my favourite series of the Apprentice. Very entertaining.

I just read about this - what a shame. It sounds, unfortunately, like he took his own life - unless it was an accident of some sort.

He was so young on The Apprentice and so sure of himself. He had such plans for himself.

Was genuinely sad to hear this, everything we talk about the apprentice we talk about Stuart bags the brand, he was such a character. Thoughts are with his family.

Very sad news. I absolutely couldn't stand him on the show (though the field of ponies quote to this day remains absolutely hilarious), though of course they edit it to portray people in a certain way.

Very sad news. He was in the middle of launching the flagship product of his company. Such an exciting time for him. It is a real shock.

The best moment ever in The Apprentice was when Claude Littner told Stuart Baggs he wasn't a brand.

I don't think suicide should be assumed. He'd been working long hours and had been to a party the night before. The police said there was nothing at his apartment to explain his death.

"Police say a post mortem carried out on Stuart Baggs has not revealed what he died from.

The Isle of Man Constabulary says the investigation carried out this afternoon shows his cause of death is "not fully determined".

The 27-year-old businessman was found dead in his bedroom in Douglas yesterday morning - there were no suspicious circumstances.

The Coroner of Inquests has been informed and an inquest will be opened in due course."

Such sad news. I didn't know him personally but DH worked in the same area & the island is a small place... :(

pepperpot I thought it sounded exactly the opposite, as if the police were quite keen to make it clear that it was nothing he'd done to being about his own death.

I quite agree Pottering. The press has reported he was at a party the night before. It was the launch party of his latest new business venture. He had everything to live for. Stuart is currently on the front page of the local paper promoting his 4G hub.

I don't know what happened, but I'm sure it was nothing he did to cause it. :(
