I got a tattoo done when I was 16, hated it from the moment it was done. Got it covered up at 22 with a bigger tattoo and I really liked it but the detail on it has faded.

I dont think I'm brave enough to go for another cover up! It would need to be pretty big. I am really tempted though as this programme has made me look at loads of designs.

Koala, you could probably get yours freshened up to make it nice again without having to cover it up.

I have one on my shoulder that I still like but after 20 years, it's looking a bit tired and faded. I'm going to get the original refreshed and a bit of embellishment added.

I think I'll need to speak to a tattooist, I'm not sure it could be freshened up HarlottOScara. It's not one big tattoo its a cluster of 7 small images, which is why I think it might not be too easy.

Koala I had my smudgy blur refreshed when it was about ten years old and it looked super for a while. It was quite small and had a fair few elements and the artist did a decent job. Unfortunately the original hack job was so atrocious and the four stone I subsequently gained then lost didn't help that it just looked a mess again after a few years, hence the big cover up.

I loved the Hand of Hamsa tattoo last night. I've read online that it's becoming really popular, is it the dragon/rose/Chinese symbol of the future?

I'm really tempted to get another tattoo now, I'd quite like it right on the midddle of my back.

Sorry, Sweary I've just seen your message. Yes, I regret getting such a small tattoo, the detail gets lost over time. If I get another one it will be bigger.
