one it is the ATP tour finals- the top 10 players with the most points compete- since January this year(which is why actual ranking complicates things, since that is a rolling thing, based on defending points at each tournament). The 'Race' as it is called re-sets the points, where the rankings doesn't.

It has round robin events, and then play offs, in November.

Another fortnight long lucker coming out of the woodwork It really has been a fantastic month for tennis and thank you ladies for keeping me entertained. No one I know even likes tennis let alone loves it so its been nice to come here and pretend Last highlights show is on at 10.40 . Pat Cash & Andy R, its not been great but since thats all that is left it'll be worth it for the final set of highlights.

We got new broadband a few weeks ago and discovered that Youtube, which was previously unwatchable now allows me to watch old matches without a glitch . As well as being transfixed by current events I have watched the Goran final in 2001 (best ever but prob coz I was on maternity leave and memories of that time are all good) and the Rafa/fed match in 2008.
