Looks promising and need something to fill the whole that the ending of revenge left :(

A family man finds the body of a young boy while jogging and becomes the prime suspect.

He has no choice but to try to find the real killer as his marriage, his kids, his reputation, and his sanity are all at stake.

It's the Australian version, and yes, it's really good. I'm watching it for the second time.

It's not the first time they show it in the UK. I watched it around March at the worst time slot I can think of (Tuesdays at 12 midnight!). I happened to watch the second episode by chance and was hooked right away. I stayed up late until 1am for the next few weeks as I could not stop watching it.

5 USA showed the Australian version last night but the blurb says it's the American version starring Ryan Phillippe that should have been on. I've already watched the Aussie one.

Does anyone know what happened?

yes Australian , didnt know there was an usa one??

or it is like mistress, uk was fab but hated usa version and stopped watching

I also didn't know there was an American version of Secrets & Lies.

I think that in the advertisement the show promoted was the Australian version, because I recognised the characters and remembered seeing this show earlier this year.

I love the US remake of Mistresses Grin

The U.S. remake of Secrets and Lies also stars Juliette Lewis but I've no idea how similar it is to the Aussie one

I've just watched the US version of this starring Juliette Lewis and Ryan Philippe, and thought I'd look for a thread on it. I'm a bit surprised there's nothing more recent - prrhaps it never caught on here?

I thought that it was compelling. A few good twists. A shocking ending.
