Is it decorated uber modern or really old fashioned? The microwave looks ancient which is what is making me question the modernness

Old fashioned!!

I had the same thought! The wallpaper is at first glance a naff 70s relic, but it looks brand new and is like a trendy Orla Kiely print. I think the décor is a mixture of fashionable and old, maybe to signify the youthful taste of the residents but also their lack of cash.

It's is an Orla Keily paper!! About £50 a roll!!

Why do all the houses and flats have steps into rooms? I've never seen this in RL

Wagglebee · 08/07/2015 13:54

It's retro. So purposely old fashioned. The wallpaper and furniture is intentional.

Blue, I think it's because it's a basement room so they steps down into it. And the flats are converted houses ?
