there is a Brum in a little transport musuem in the Cotswolds - Bourton- on- the- water, Stow on the Wold??? or some such lovely name. We went earlier this year.

The opening of the programme is filmed there.

jollymum · 17/11/2006 19:21

Egdebaston in Birmingham and the City Centre.

WestCountryLass · 17/11/2006 22:05

Am PMSL at this question

rustybear · 17/11/2006 22:08

Pretty sure Brum's at Bourton on the Water, Mercy, or very close ..the place with the penguins. I loved that museum.

ledodgyfireworksingedmyeyebrow · 17/11/2006 22:09

It's filmed in Birmingham thus Brum having a double meaning.

justamum · 18/11/2006 00:29

the clue's in the title! its definitely B-ham (at least the more scenic bits) a lot of it is in that new bit between Broad St and the NIA.
(I am not a Brummie btw)

jampots · 18/11/2006 00:51

yes is brum although feel it very necessary to defend brummies here. I imagine the cast other than the car are drafted in from out of the area as brummies just dont behave like those numpties

ghosty · 18/11/2006 00:52

The thread title is making me pmsl ... I keep reading "Where is Bum filled?"

lovelybird · 18/11/2006 07:33

Yes it's Birmingham and I'm a proud Brummie. The outdoor scenes are filmed in B'ham city centre, and some are at the Uni's - B'ham and Aston.
Brum can be seen at the car museum in Bourton-on-the-water which is in the cotswolds about 1hrs drive from Brum
We love Brum, my DS 22 months does a dance to the theme tume every time he hears it!

7up · 18/11/2006 07:37

me and ds aged 2 are brum fans as well! theyve just started putting it on cbeebies as well which has thrilled him

angmarie · 18/11/2006 12:26

it is Burton on the water where the museum is

cupcakes · 18/11/2006 12:35

No, it's filmed in The Big Town. Duh.

redbeki · 25/11/2006 21:00

you know your brum lovelybird. we love brum.big up the brummies

CountTo10LordsaLeaping · 25/11/2006 21:03

Don't ds positively has a melt down about it when it comes on that its almost over by the time he's calmed down. We always have to dance at the end!!!

bananaloaf · 25/11/2006 21:07

ds1 has a pedal brum which he takes on adventures to the big town. When he got it for his b'day he was somewhat overcome that Brum had come to life. He did expect brum to move on it own however

Ulysees · 25/11/2006 21:18

My mam met him yep, tis Birmingham

TinselgalacticWalrus · 25/11/2006 21:32
