I know I don't post much on here but have always been a BB fan and these threads are the perfect accompaniment.
I've come on this morning to find out what happened last night though because I don't think I can bear to watch the show anymore.
CHANNEL 5 HAVE KILLED BIG BROTHER!!!!
It's been steadily getting worse...provide everyone with alcohol and then give them a 'task' to encourage them all to rip each other to shreds. It's disgusting and makes for seriously uncomfortable viewing.
Is Jeremy Kyle in charge?
This level of bear baiting isn't fun, it's pathetic.
Who told the programme makers that this is what the viewing public want?? They've taken the fact that the year I can't recall where everyone loved each other and got along fine one year was rather dull and another year a personality free nice girl won, as proof that we want a real life hunger games show. It will make no difference whatsoever but I am voting with my feet (and remote control)
I don't want to watch The only way is Geordie shore. Not interested in Jeremy Kyle style TV. If I wanted to see a group of people get pissed and behave like total arseholes to each other I'd hang out on the local park of an evening and buy the teenage nightmares some white lightning and mad dog 20/20
Am I just an old lady now and too sensitive? I long for the days when the programme was a lot more about watching how people naturally Interact. Desperate for the 'drama' of Craig and co confronting their 'nasty' housemate for writing on smuggled in paper.
Bring back REAL BB with proper, alcohol free, basic rations. Nominations and evictions protected and not screwed around with week by week and most importantly fun, entertaining tasks
This show was brilliant when it wasn't trying to be something else!
