I find it fascinating how local accents affects facial muscles and expressions. I can tell where some people are from by the shape of their mouths and faces.

Very broad generilastions, but nikkis 'oy' sort of pronunciation means she pushes her jaw forwards and her cheek muscles are slightly oddly shaped. North of Scotland people have quite thin lips as a result of their accents.

No I don't lip read but I think I could do it quite well if I tried. It would be interesting to know if lip readers thought the same.
