How heartbreaking for Margarite, 2 years after she saw her mum for the last time, her foster parents died and she went into care. How will her BM feel, how will she live with that knowledge.

That reaction from her poor bm was really heartbreaking. Got me sobbing.Sad

SoleSource · 10/06/2015 21:39

I know :(

Her BM is devastated.

The Yugoslavian Father is excitable! I wonder if they'll get on with each other.

I do love this programme. Always feel sad there aren't more episodes.

BreadmakerFan · 10/06/2015 21:40

I always cry. I know no one will ever look for me Confused.

SoleSource · 10/06/2015 21:41

Look for them? Write to the programme Bread

SoleSource · 10/06/2015 21:42

The Scottish guy is lovely :)

BreadmakerFan · 10/06/2015 21:48

I don't want to be found. It just makes me sad that that is the case.

SoleSource · 10/06/2015 21:51

Were you adopted Bread?

hideandseekpig · 10/06/2015 21:51

Same shirts!

girliefriend · 10/06/2015 21:54

Love this programme, think the Yugoslavian dad is really funny! I wonder if they will get on though (really funny they both turned up to the first meeting in similar shirts Grin )

Am heart broken for the other mum Sad that would be devastating.

I wonder if dd will be writing to this programme in a few years searching for her dad, can't think he has been thinking about her much though given he has never tried to contact us (has all our contact details Sad )

breward · 10/06/2015 21:55

Last week's episode was lovely with both the mum and dad looking for their son. The father and son looked so alike.

msrisotto · 10/06/2015 21:57

Haven't seen this one yet but saw last weeks and a bunch others - i love this programme, so tear jerking.

SoleSource · 10/06/2015 22:02

There was a Long Lost Family - What Happened Next programme. Sep of the families fell out and never spoke to each other again. One Lady turned stalker of the Brother she had found in South Africa!

BreadmakerFan · 10/06/2015 22:02

No, Sole. My parents didn't want me but they didn't want anyone else to have me either so I had numerous moves.

girliefriend · 10/06/2015 22:08

Yeah I saw that Sole was interesting I thought, can imagine the honeymoon period runs out pretty quick and not all resentments can be forgotten.

Bread that sounds really hard, hope you are o.kay now Flowers

Hepzibar · 10/06/2015 22:15

I saw it too sole, there was a falling out with a BM and her son (think he was in New Zealand). Remember her saying something along lines of still having a baby in her head and being hard to adjust to the man?

Impossible to understand what either parties have been through and are thinking.

I a
Ways want a happy ending but guess life's just not like that.

I love this programme and enjoy a weekly sob. Thought Marguerite was lovely and generous; and the Croatian dad was so like his son.

OpalQuartz · 11/06/2015 18:37

Marguerite suffered so much loss in her young life. Sad Such a sad story how it worked out, although she looked to have found happiness with her husband. I hope her bm lives a long life so she has some time with her after missing so much.

Hepzibar · 17/06/2015 21:13

I'm already welling up and Peters not met his mum yet!

OP posts:
Hepzibar · 17/06/2015 21:48

MissWimpyDimple · 17/06/2015 21:56

Ron is so sweet! "No more sleeps!"

SoleSource · 24/06/2015 21:36

Anybody watching?

Sad tales again tonight, hopefully they'll get on.

Kinraddie · 24/06/2015 22:53

Vicky and her mum were so alike. Found that story very moving. It's a shame they live so so far away from each other.

SoleSource · 01/07/2015 21:05

Looks good tonight.

Hepzibar · 08/07/2015 21:21

Are they going to find Alley's mother?
