Netflix... Is it worth it?

I'm pretty ignorant in this field. I love films and i buy loads of DVDs. I swap them, share them with friends, especially love all the special features and extras on them.
Recently more and more people i know are going off DVDs and switching to netflix. Is there all the same stuff i'd get on a dvd? Commentaries, extras, etc.?

My brother did the two screen when he was here for a visit and I bloody love Netflix. Currently on a OITNB season 3 binge but have watched loads on it. There's always something to watch.

I had Netflix on a free trial for a month give it a go and see.

I just want to know how to get Netflix USA or are the comments on here coming from the USA?

I've been a Netflix subscriber for a while and I like it. I got it mainly for my favourite show called Once Upon A Time (channel 5 cancelled it after season 2 but Netflix have seasons 3 & 4 and subsequent seasons etc). There are some brilliant shows on their - Archer, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Better Call Saul to name a few. I started to watch Daredevil but found it way too violent, and, controversially to some people I talk to, am not keen on some of their exclusive shows such as Orange Is The New Black, Sense 8, Between - I didn't like any of them to be honest.

P.S. You can access Netflix USA with a VPN but I don't know one good enough to get a good stream.

I've not really watched live TV for years due to irregular work patterns. I love netflix. House of cards brought us in, but we've stayed happy with what we've got. We're OLD.

Google,and install 'Hola',to gain access to US version.

I did install Hola which worked for a while, but think because I am on Sky it is blocked. Netflix sent me a shirty message about it I had to agree not to try and access it.
