I agree with what you say. Its part of the game, and great players need to ignore it and get over it & just play.

Did you notice when Rafa played, the crowd always supported the other player ? Except Novak.

That says a lot.

I know I'm biased but I can't think of anyone else who the crowds will cheerfully boo and get behind his opponent, because they know it winds Novak up.

Andy used to be like it. He's learned not to show annoyance, so much.

Novak would do well to do the same.

At first I thought Stan had nothing to lose by going all out here. But actually, I think he needs to win this. To get rid of the demons he has from winning the Aussie open. There will always be that thought at the back of his mind (and those watching), that a fit Nadal would beaten him? Certainly, I think it affected Rafa too.

So Stan is going to win this- on merit. No injured opponents, or question marks.

Its funny, Juan. Emotion is needed and wanted on court, by fans, the crowd, and your fellow players.

The right amount though. Don't get too upset, win graciously (one of the things Novak never does, in my opinion, all that roaring) and don't get too cross.
