LOST BOX SET - Is it worthwhile buying?

I haven't seen any of the series at all. Have heard that it's meant to be fantastic so thinking about asking for the box set for christmas.
Just wondered from those of you who have been watching it on the TV -without giving too much away to me - if you think its worthwhile getting.

We are hooked on it as awell.

It is a pity that series 3 has gone to SKY, but my DP has been downloiading it from the states since it started over there. He now has quite a few ei=pisodes that we will sit and watch in blocks of 2 or 3 soon.

oooh dont tell me what happens it starts on sky this sunday and they are showing the first 2 episodes i cant wait. We are also waiting for the new series of 24 which starts in january, thats very addictive as well.

Was thinking about getting this too - we missed the first series and so were unable to catch up! Ditto Prison Break?

I've thought about this as well... they sell them cheap on ebay
