Anyone watching these? One this week' on people who take part in 'tough mudder', last week was on the secret life of cleaners.

They are really great.

I agree, I'm really enjoying the programmes. They're really well put together, with such a mixture of everyday tragedy, humour and melancholy.

I couldn't get in to the nature-watching one, but am enjoying the Tough Mudder one.

That exarmy bloke so needs to get away from his overbearing mother who needs to engage with her own life and stop living through her son. Where are the female contestants? My sil did this and she is normal and a regular runner. There seemed to me a lot of hanging around at the obstacles

Also why the hell would you run a nocturnal 26 mile training run the week before a 13 mile obstacle course
