Is it just me or does anyone else find Martin Shaw unbelievably attractive?!

Not just you...

theconstantvacuumer · 20/05/2015 21:11

He's aged well.

I am worried that Rachel is going to meet a grisly end Sad

kelda · 20/05/2015 21:11

Nothing better then rolled up white shirt selves on a decent arm.

hotandbothered24 · 20/05/2015 21:12

Think he is lovely, also in judge John Deed

Pud2 · 20/05/2015 21:41

Just drop dead gorgeous! You're right, he has aged well. He wasn't so attractive when he was a Professional!
Yes, I thought Rachael, or someone, would come to a sticky end. Sad that it's the last one in this series.

Martin Shaw, beguilingly attractive? Can't say I've ever noticed. And that's definitely not the reason I've just rewatched the whole series of J. Deed, too - that was to marvel at the totally believable storylines and Jenny Wotsits hamdramatic skills.Wink

Hands off, he's mine! Or at least I've been waiting since he was Ray Doyle for him to be mine...

No more George Gently, what a shame. Great acting all round (I've even warmed to Bacchus who I used to loathe) and some 60s nostalgia for an old bat like me, what's not to love?

KurriKurri · 24/05/2015 19:57

He lives nearish to me, I've seen him in specsavers getting his glasses, he's v.nice in real life too (nice looking I mean -I didn't rush up and accost him while he was trying on frames Grin)

I loved George Gently too. Not much else to watch on telly at the moment. Was watching the old Morse re runs on ITV3 on Sunday evenings but they seem to have stopped!

FadedRed · 24/05/2015 20:09

Definitely in the queue for Martin Shaw - have been for years, apart from the obvious, his voice is sooo attractive too.......

humlebee7 · 24/05/2015 21:39

Yes. Agreed.

Icimoi · 24/05/2015 23:31

I much prefer him in Gently than as Judge John Deed. He always came over as incredibly sanctimonious in that, and the storylines were so ludicrous they put my blood pressure up.
