Pretty Little Liars is my new Netflix addiction. I'm probably far too old for it but I've been sucked in, as has my mum. Anyone else watch?

I've just watched the entire series earlier this year. I need to know who A is! How far along are you?

Cheesymonster · 18/05/2015 20:00

I just finished series 5 and found it so addictive. Will series 6 be on Netflix?

Theimpossiblegirl · 18/05/2015 20:06

I watch it with my teens, we're nearly at the end of Series 3. It is brilliant!
:)

TwinkieTwinkle · 18/05/2015 20:26

I'm almost at the end of Series 4. Still enjoying it, disappointed what they do with some of the characters but it has so many twists it really keeps you on your toes! There's another two series being made and I'm assuming that they will go on Netflix. Didn't they get the rights for it in the UK?

I don't think it's ever been on UK telly. I think it started on mtv. I am way too old to care but I just love it!! Grin

TwinkieTwinkle · 18/05/2015 21:39

It was on Viva when it first started. I watched the first few episodes and then lost track of it. Hence why I was ever so happy to find out it's all on Netflix. I'm almost positive the next two series are going to be uploaded, I'm sure I read something about it when they got the rights to all the current series.

My DD has watched them all... She seems to think series 6 is out in June?

TwinkieTwinkle · 18/05/2015 22:02

I soooooooooo hope she is right.

I love it too, particularly Spencer. I'm on series 5 and am trying to ration it.

dancemom · 18/05/2015 22:45

What age is it suitable for? Dd is 9, is she too young?

cece · 18/05/2015 22:47

DD is obsessed with it. Apparently new series is out next week on Wednesday.

VivaLeBeaver · 18/05/2015 22:49

I think 9 is too young. Dd is 14yo.

There's a lot of very nasty bullying, blackmailing, threats, never mind the murder/death and spooky stalking.

TwinkieTwinkle · 18/05/2015 23:19

Definitely not suitable for a nine year old. I won't watch when DS is in the room reading or playing on his iPad. If he was to catch any of it it could give him a right fright to be honest. I find myself jumping at a few bits of it!

Just finished the last episode of season four tonight. Will try and stretch out season five so I don't end up suffering withdrawals!

It starts in US in June. Not sure about UK, hopefully Netflix will upload an episode a week? Otherwise I'll have to stay offline to avoid spoilers!

Spencer is great. Especially when she went to London and had interviews at Oxford and St Andrews universities on the same day.

Definitely not suitable for young ones. The finale of s5 gave me nightmares and I'm 39 Blush

Everyone please catch up with me so we can talk about series 5! Grin

TwinkieTwinkle · 19/05/2015 07:53

I'm just starting season five. The one thing that gets to me is their loyalty to Ali through everything when she was always such a bitch!

SalyCinnamon · 19/05/2015 08:05

They showed an episode a week on Netflix with series 5, so presume they will do the same with series 6.

I found out about Pretty Little Liars when it first came out, I stumbled across it on google, I read the books first, I think myum bought me them when I was 14, so a little while ago but anyone who's DC love the series I can almost guarantee they will love the books! The whole story is different in the books but with the same characters.

TwinkieTwinkle · 25/05/2015 23:00

Finished season 5. I'm now counting the days until season 6 starts. I've really noticed a difference between season 4/5 and the earlier ones. It's so much darker and creepier in the later seasons.

Cheesymonster · 03/06/2015 20:23

So anyone watched the first episode of series 6 yet?

TwinkieTwinkle · 04/06/2015 16:31

Me, me, me!

OP posts:
Cheesymonster · 04/06/2015 17:57

Omg it was so good!!

TwinkieTwinkle · 04/06/2015 19:48

I don't know how I'll cope with just one episode a week. I was so used to binge watching!

Me too, I watched two episodes a night when DH was on nights and DD in bed. Am watching Orange is the new black as well now though.

TwinkieTwinkle · 04/06/2015 23:09

I'm rewatching Orange is the New Black is preparation for the new series. I could watch it over and over, it's just so good.

OP posts:
Cheesymonster · 05/06/2015 09:25

I am only about ten episodes in, it's so funny.

ProcrastinatingPat · 05/06/2015 09:32

Oh thanks! Just finished Nashville and need a new fix x
