FFS! I hate Horizon now. Should change it's name to bloody 'Diaster on the horizon'!! It's never been exactly riggorous science maybe but it used to be fun! Archaeology, history, geology, dinosaurs and stuff....used to be DS#1's treat on a Thursday to watch it in bed with me -we both loved it. Now it's just sensationalist crap and if he watched it he'd be scared to set foot outside the door....

Far more likely we'll die of something else first.

Indeed. And next week they'll tell you what it is... We'll all have faced economic ruin and the breakdown of society first, of course (see Panorama).

So...that's a bankrupt alien with flu living in a flooded house next to a terrorist cell that's about to be hit by a chunk of rock from outer space.

I intentionally didn't watch it as I worry enough about these things anyway.
