These 2 are a bloody nightmare.

OP posts:
DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 07/05/2015 22:13

Was just about to start a thread-never seen such disagreeable people in my lifeShock

What on earth was wrong with them?!Confused

Chippednailvarnish · 07/05/2015 22:16

I don't like their hair helpful

HelpingAFriendNow · 07/05/2015 22:21

OMG why did they ever agree to go on the programme.

Jacana · 08/05/2015 12:03

I've just watched it. I thought the American lady was vaguely red Indian looking with her long plaits and was totally dominated by the Welsh woman who called the shots on absolutely everything. Pity that supplying breakfast for the mountain bikers would 'stress out' the Welsh one, madness cos they need the cals.for a days biking so someone somewhere is going to get the trade-and the money. Loved the look of that burrito Alex was given, right size for a biker, too.

So, no, I didn't see a disagreeable pair, I saw one extremely nasty and domineering one and the other, twice her size, completely dominated.

BunnyLebowski · 08/05/2015 12:59

I'm watching it now. That welsh one is complete harridan Shock .

I can't quite figure out their dynamic. Are they a couple?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/05/2015 13:25

Trip advisor reviews are pretty shocking!

bobajob · 08/05/2015 13:29

The Welsh one was so nasty in the way she spoke to her partner too.

usualsuspect333 · 08/05/2015 13:32

They were a bloody nightmare.

I felt so sorry for Alex.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/05/2015 13:43

Was the Welsh on a former social worker? Worrying!

dillite · 08/05/2015 13:49

I just watched it and it was completely and utterly bizarre! They wanted help, and yet would not accept advice. They know best, huh? There is no way in hell I would stay somewhere that has pigeons all over the place and 2 huge dogs, no matter how nice they might be. They were jumping all over the kitchen. The same kitchen that is used to prepare guests meals (well, used to be). And it did not look very inviting from the outside either with that huge fence around the whole place.

Thank God that Welsh woman no longer works as a social worker. Can you imagine her managing your case?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/05/2015 13:50

Excuse the typos - woman

Jacana · 08/05/2015 14:36

Y'know, I really was left with the impression that 'they' weren't a nightmare..the Welsh one was, and had 'attitude' in spadesShock. I quite liked the pokohontas looky-likey and I suspect she had funded the whole caboodle and was ameniable to change, hence getting rid ofdiscouraging the pigeons which I think she really liked - free spirits and all that..And she was obviously up for providing a substantial breakfast. I don't think that housing or containing the dogs more appropriately would have been a deal breaker for her. The argument for the changed name all came from the Welsh witch, too?

dillite · 08/05/2015 14:48

Yes, you are right Jacana. It was the Welsh one who was mostly against everything. But that doesn't excuse the American one as she allowed the Welsh one to get away with it all.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/05/2015 15:41

The most bizarre comment was from the lady with plaits who said on all seriousness ' we need help, but where from?'

This was after Alex was already working with them and they'd turned down all her ideas Confused

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/05/2015 15:56

In not on

Bloody ipadHmm

Germgirl · 08/05/2015 16:16

"There aren't any other b&b's round here"
"There are 17!"
Cue grumpy, slightly astonished faces.
I found it bizarre that someone who obviously dislikes people as much as the welsh one did would open a b&b!
I fell asleep about 10 minutes before the end, what happened? Did they take Alex's advice & move out?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/05/2015 16:18

Germ- no, they took none of the advice whatsoever, and changed the name backGrin

Germgirl · 08/05/2015 16:41

Tsk! Silly people!
Presumably they asked for help in the first place? Alex didn't just appear and start bossing them about!

NKfell · 08/05/2015 17:53

The former social worker comment made me wonder if any of her clients were watching and saying "see?! I told you she was unreasonable!" In all seriousness, a total worry that she was a social worker.

I never understand why they get people in and ignore all their advice- Alex Polizzi, Sarah Beeny and even Gordon Ramsey- if you invite them in to help, do exactly what they say!

Chippednailvarnish · 08/05/2015 18:11

Is this the one?

Shock
dillite · 08/05/2015 18:46

That's the one, Chipped.

Jacana · 08/05/2015 19:05

Yep, that's the one. Reading the reviews, it's such a shame that Welshie gets too stressed to do breakfast, there were some good reviews about the brekkiesConfused

forago · 08/05/2015 21:23

the welsh one was the most unnecessarily obnoxious and disagreeable person that has ever been on that show. why go on it and ask for help and they refute all the expert advice and help you are given. silly, silly women.
