Emergency new thread as old one almost at the limit.

Settle in and start hoping that 6tl falls down a hole and takes AwfulNurse with her.

Dh and I went to our wedding together Raahh!

Raahh · 27/05/2015 18:38

cinnamon- oh yes
'Zara at The Mill today? 'oh yes.'

'Zara at the campus today?' 'oh yes'

Sorted. Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/05/2015 18:40

You see I think the just-not-seen-but-mentioned is a far better idea than engineering a way for her to leave for a while, cinnamon. I don't know why soaps don't do it more often. They do it with kids all the time, but never seem to think of it with the grown-ups.

cinnamon- did you? Come to think of it, my gran and her husband did too.

I drew the short straw when we got married- I stayed at my mum's with dd1. She was 8 months old and awake all night because she hated the travel cot. Dh was at home with ds.(4) They slept really wellGrin. Maybe we should have all gone together. (We had a vintage bus, it would have been big enough).

Oh dear, she has got this little boy drunk.

cinnamongreyhound · 27/05/2015 18:41

Yep you've got it.

'Ah I thought Zara was here?'
'No, you've just missed her she's had to go and cover at the campus.'

Daniel on the phone, hangs up
'That was Zara they're having a terrible day at the mill, Mrs so and so is causing a stir'

Raahh · 27/05/2015 18:43

I feel sorry for the girl really, she's lost her mum after all and doesn't want someone 'taking' her dad too.

cinnamongreyhound · 27/05/2015 18:44

Yep, we lived together and it kind of seemed daft (we're not superstitious and that seemed the only reason). We had dss (4) and our witness got to ours an hour or so before and all 5 of us went in our car together and my family met us there. Very small wedding and his family refused to come Sad they love me now but still hasn't forgiven him for leaving his cheating ex-w and therefore dss.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/05/2015 18:45

Haven't seen today's yet, but DH and I went to our wedding together too. But it was in Vegas so everything was a bit different.

Raahh · 27/05/2015 18:45

cinnamon- we've often said it, but the writers need to hire us. Would be so much better than getting some random locum in to cover whilst she and Daniel 'sort out their marriage problems'.

Aww, this little lad is so sweet. 'I'll buy my own food'. Sad

I think both kids feel left out in their own way.

cinnamongreyhound · 27/05/2015 18:46

Yes I did too Raahh but then I am quite soft when it comes to children with problems. A lot of the time there's a reason for the problems, caused by adults!

Raahh · 27/05/2015 18:48

cinnamon- oh dearSad

Fortunately, dh had been separated for a long time when we met- though it took him til I got pg with dd1 to get divorced. Grin.

Raahh · 27/05/2015 18:52

Well, this is an eventful wedding.

They may have rushed into things, really. Her mum hasn't been gone that long.

Raahh · 27/05/2015 18:56

I would love a Vegas wedding. I keep telling dh- next timeWinkWink

I think they are being rather harsh towards Lucy, really. She's a young girl, who has lost her mum, and they don't really seem to have talked much. She could have had a friend at the wedding, at least.

Niamh and Al ! Together! In his room!

G'wan......

Raahh · 27/05/2015 18:56

ohhhhSad

Bloody taxi.

curlyclaz13 · 28/05/2015 14:25

Missed the first half, but Al rescuing Mrs T was brilliant Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 28/05/2015 14:47

Watching now, mrsT is fab! Love that everyone wants to help her though.

toldmywrath · 28/05/2015 15:25

Just caught up on yesterday's wedding one. The fact that Niamh only joined the cast of Doctors in May 2014 means that the newly weds hadn't been together long at all. Although we know of a youngish widower who moved in with his girlfriend (now wife) 3 months after losing his first wife. His children were a bit Hmm & upset by it,but all get on ok now.

toldmywrath · 28/05/2015 15:27

Loving your own wedding stories. Me & DH lived togther before we married, but I spent the night before at my parents. We had a very low key (& cheap) wedding, but it was lovely.

toldmywrath · 28/05/2015 15:28

Although sorry to hear about your il's Cinnamon Sad that must've hurt.

Raahh · 29/05/2015 11:24

I have just caught up with yesterday's- I loved Al and Mrs T. Grin

I felt sorry for Zaniel is looking doomed.

Raahh · 29/05/2015 17:16

Catching up with today's- soooooo funny, with Mrs T's reaction to the meds. And when she fell off the chair....GrinGrin

Raahh · 29/05/2015 17:17

I do wonder if Zara is seeing things that aren't there. Surely he is too young to really get a proper diagnosis? But Zara is convinced....

Raahh · 29/05/2015 17:24

ooh, Mr Kit is a bit nice.

Raahh · 29/05/2015 17:27

Oh dear- I bet the brother wishes he'd stayed in Australia.

The sister is pretty meanSad

Raahh · 29/05/2015 17:30

poor man. Sad
