Is it Barrington?

I'd much prefer to see a child called Barry than all the current popular "older" names that you hear everywhere.

I'm not a fan of "old" names either having suffered teasing at school because of my old lady middle name.

I'm not sure if it is short for anything. Or even if it is 'Barry'- might be Barreee,
or Barri. Grin

I have an uncle Barrie! I always want to say that it is spelt wrong.But of course you can spell a name anyway you like.
BTW our dog's nick named after Barry Shtpeas from Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe-when she was a smaller doglet she used to, well, sht peas.
